I wish I would have had video of Preslie eating her cupcake. She shoved the entire cupcake in her mouth and then had all this frosting on her hand and she was so upset because she couldn't figure out how to get it off. It was pretty comical!

Preslie is 1! She wasn't real sure what to do with the cupcake with the candle in it.

Raygan wanted to blow out candles for breakfast on her birthday so I came up with this genius idea.....bananas on top of cheerios with candles stuck in the bananas! She loved it!

Raygan and her girlfriends at the Disney on Ice show that we took them to for her birthday party! It was a pretty cool show!

Mom won't waste .50 cents on these dumb rides but Daddy sure will!!

Happy 6th Birthday Raygan! We let her choose where to go for dinner and she chose Azteca because you get to wear this cool hat and you get a cherry on top of your dessert!

Well, Preslie will turn 1 in 10 days :( and Raygan will be turning 6 in less than a month and Chace turned 9 about a month ago! I've realized that Chace's time with us in now half way over and it makes me want to cry! The time has gone by so fast and it seems to keep going faster and faster! I want them to stop growing up dangit!!!

Wow, I've forgotten how to even post it's been so long! Here are a few pictures of our summer of 09'!

Our trip to the Washington Coast with Grandpa Stan and Grandma Shirley, I thought this picture was adorable with Grandma and Raygan looking for seashells!

Our annual trip to Silverwood! Raygan and I stuck with the "little kid" rides while Dad and Chace hit the "big kid" rides!

Our baby girl is now almost 11 months old! I can't even think about it or I get depressed! I've been having thoughts of baby #4 but don't anyone even mention that to Dave or there will be trouble at the Jenkins household!!

Here's our little Raygan at her first day of Kindergarten! She didn't even look back to tell me good-bye. Sometimes I wish I were one of those moms that had a kid that cries when you leave them for the first time. I'm glad she was ready and I'm going to miss having her around! I just love that girl to death!!!

Well, that's just a small preview of our summer! We had lots of fun with lots of good friends and family! It definantly will be a summer to remember!

Well, I was determined to get a video of Chace playing baseball! So it wasn't the best video because I was standing behind this really tall fence. We only have 2 baseball games left which is bittersweet because I love going and watching the games but Raygan, Preslie and I are sick of freezing our rears off at all the practices and games. It was a fun season and Chace has come so far since he started playing 3 years ago! Way to go Chacers!!!

Here's my little t-ball player. She is wearing all Chace's hand-me-down baseball clothes. I don't think she'll be going pro but she sure is dang cute! It's about time Chace sits on the side lines and watches her for all the many hours she has been drug around to all Chace's events! I do have to admit that it is hard to go from watching Chace's games to going to watch 4 and 5 year olds play t-ball. It's hard to believe that Chace was just like those little 4 year olds not so long ago!

Ok, I realize I'm a little late with posting but I eventually get around to it. So here is our easter picture for the year. Yah, I know, it stinks but when you have to have 5 people dressed and ready to go to church at 8:45 am you take what you can get. Dad was the photographer here. Thanks honey, but next year hopefully I will be ready to go to church on time so I can take the pictures!

Pinewood Derby winner!!

Well, Chace took first place at our church's pinewood derby. He was so excited. Although I think his Dad was just as excited because we all know that it's really an activity for the boy's dad's. The morning of the derby, Dave woke up and put the finishing coat of paint on, applied the stickers and went to spray a final clear coat on but when he started spraying, out came a pretty coat of white paint. The clear coat bottle was mislabeled with a white label. Woops! I wasn't out in the garage but I'm sure there was some pretty naughty words being said.
In case anyone's wondering about Chace's socks, he just came from soccer and those are his chin guards. :)

Here's my awesome sister Jenny that participated in a marathon with Mandy from this seasons Biggest Loser. I know Mandy looks great but check out my sister. She has lost so much weight and gets up at the crack of dawn every morning to run and train for her marathon's. She did really awesome at this last marathon too! What an inspiration you are sis! Way to go! Could you pass on some of that motivation my way!

Well, I can't say that we did anything really that exciting for Spring Break, but we did spend a day up in Hayden, Idaho at Triple Play, an indoor water park. The kids had a great time but the chlorine content inside that park was too much to bear for all of us by the end of the day! Here are a few pictures of the kids!

Well, we had a busy weekend this weekend, but when don't we? Saturday was Daddy Day at Raygan's preschool so her and Dad went on a date to school that morning. Then Chace had his first BMX race of the season and he took 1st place. He needs one more first place win and he can move up to the intermediate class which we're hoping is a little more competition for him. Dave of coarse had to race too, he has a little more competition in his class so it might be a while before he moves up to the next class. From there we headed to the shooting range with Grandpa and Grandma Jenkins. The boys shot the guns while the girls hung out in the car trying to stay warm. Chace got to shoot Grandpa's old 22 and thought that was great. We then went to Mongolian for dinner, did a little shopping at TJMaxx and headed home and went to bed. Now it's Sunday afternoon and I'm BORED to death. I'm not too fond of the 9am church because the day seems to DRAAAAGGGG on forever. Anyway, life is good at the Jenkins household. Chace has his last basketball game on Saturday and his first soccer game too. So he is currently playing soccer, basketball, signed up to start baseball, going to scouts and trying to race his motorcycle when he can fit it in! What the heck is wrong with me?? He loves all of them and it keeps him from sitting in front of the television and off of that dumb DS so I guess I won't complain. Raygan is in gymnastics and we signed her up to play t-ball for her first time (this should be very entertaining). Dave is still working out of town during the week and it looks like that is going to continue for an indefinite amount of time. I guess you have to go where the work is these days. Preslie is now 4 1/2 months old and never sleeps. Aren't 4 months old still suppose to sleep quite a bit? She sleeps good at night but pretty much never sleeps during the day! So not much gets done around here. Oh well, more time to play with her I guess. Anyway, just thought I would update everyone on what's up with the Jenkins these days.....we know how good at blogging I am so it might be a few more months before you hear from me! Oh, I will try and post a video of Chace's BMX race. It is kinda far away but you can see him once he comes closer to me!

Well, Preslie has been sleeping in with Dave and I in her bassinett but the other night I wanted to work out and didn't want to wake her up so I put her to bed in her room. I missed her too much so she's back in with mom and dad! Oh, I wish I was that lady that just had octuplets. I just love my little girl and wish I had more! I don't remember loving the "baby" stage so much with my other kids. I think it is because when they get a little older they talk back and make life a little more difficult for mom. None of that with my little baby girl! I'll enjoy it while I can!

Ok, here is Chace and his Christmas present that we gave him before going to Idaho so we didn't have to haul the thing around. He of coarse loved it!

Here are the kids at Grandpa Steve and Grandma Jonie's seeing what Santa brought for them! Needless to say, Raygan wasn't really excited about the Wii that Santa brought both of them, but Chace of coarse was ecstatic!

Ok, a little background for this here picture! We were staying at Dave's brother's in-laws cabin but they needed it for a New Year's party they were having so we had to move to the cabin across the lake. The lake is basically all that area in front of us on the snowmobile. It is supposedly frozen and the only way to get to the cabin. So Dave is pulling Preslie and I behind the snowmobile across the frozen lake. If we didn't die from falling into the frozen lake, I thought we would die from carbon monoxide poisoning from that snowmobile. Preslie wasn't bothered by it I guess because she fell asleep on the way! When all was said and done we survived the whole ordeal, although I wake up at night worrying about what could have happened if the temperature would have been just a bit warmer??????

It has been snowing like crazy here and it is suppose to keep snowing with no end in sight. Nice to play in but I hate that my husband has to work out in it! Dave is amazing and keeps his crew going with work even in the minus degree weather and the snow falling! We sure love him and appreciate what a good provider he is for our little family! I feel really guilty being at home in a heated house all day! What a guy! Anyway, enough of my little shout-out to Dave!

I know, I know, it's been awhile! I got so behind on all my work stuff that I had to put my blogging on hold for a bit. And having a new baby added to the delay! I thought I would post Preslie's one month picture. The sad part about it is that it is time to go get her 2 month pictures in 4 more days! She is getting so big and she is the best baby EVER! I am so lucky and we just love her to death. She is smiling and cooing now too! She better slow down or I'm going to want another baby! And we ALL know how my husband would deal with that! Ha, ha!

I know, I know, it has almost been 2 weeks since she was born and I am now just blogging! I have a good excuse though. My husband dropped our camera when I was being moved from the triage room to my regular room. We managed to get about 3 pictures right after she was born and that was it. So I finally made it to Costco and bought a new camera, except it didn't get taken out of the box until Saturday. So she will be 2 weeks old tomorrow.

Just a little run down of the day she was born. Tuesday October 14th I started having contractions at about 5 am. I got up and started doing some work in the office and then decided it might be the real thing this time so I decided to get in the shower and get ready before the kids had to be up. By the time I got done showering I was in some serious pain but I wasn't going to the hospital without doing my hair. So somehow I managed to get my make-up on and hair done in between contractions that were coming every minute or so. Luckily Dave hadn't left for work yet and he got Chace and Raygan ready, got Chace on the bus, Raygan to the neighbors, and by the time he got back I was standing at the door waiting, about ready to DIE! So we drove to the hospital and arrived at about 9 am and I delivered Preslie at 9:53 a.m. Yes, if her head wouldn't have been turned backwards Dave would have probably delivered her in the car. Everything went pretty smoothly and we were released the next day. She was 8 pds 5 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. She is an excellent baby and we love her to death. Dave is working out of town now until January so I'm all on my own during the week but we seem to manage. Here are a few of the pictures I have managed to get finally!

Ok, do you all notice the little baby countdown to the right of the page? Yes, you're right, it says ZERO days left until the baby is due! So I thought at about 10pm last night I was going into labor so I started madly cleaning my kids rooms because they had friends over that day and that always creates quite the disaster. Then I was nervous about going into labor in the middle of the night because then what in the heck was I going to do with my kids! So I think between the cleaning and the nerves, Preslee decided she would wait a little longer! So I get to go to church today and hear all the fun little comments about STILL being pregnant! But on the bright side, I wouldn't trade it for anything! Have a great sunday everyone!

Well, I have had a few people wondering if I have had this baby yet, and the answer is.........NO! My due date is tomorrow and who would have guessed that after going into labor almost 8 weeks ago that I would now be looking at going past my due date. So hopefully any day now. Except not Monday or Tuesday because Dave has to go take care of some work out of town those two days! So if this little girl decides to come then, hopefully she will take it slowly so Dave can get here in time!

I went and had Chace's 8 year pictures taken yesterday and we threw Raygan in a few of them. I will post a few of them. Just so you know, the pictures are a little deceiving. Chace and Raygan actually look like they like each other. Well, don't get me wrong, they do like each other, but they certainly don't always get along this well with each other.

I will try and update as soon as I have the baby, but we all know how good I am at updating! Have a great weekend everyone!

We finally picked a name!

Ok, so we were putting the kids to bed last night and I mentioned to Dave that he had better hurry up and pick a name since we are down to less than 4 weeks now. I thought we had agreed on Jaycee but he decided he didn't like that name. So I originally had liked Presley but he didn't. So last night he informed me that he likes Presley now. So hopefully we have made it final and her name will be Presley Jo Jenkins. Jo is short for my mom who's name is Jone in case any of you were wondering! Now let's just hope Dave doesn't change his mind again. Sorry to all those who liked Jaycee. :)

Chace and Raygan's cousin, Breanna, has been here this week and they have been having a great time together. They don't get to see her very often so were glad Roy made the trip all the way over so they could see each other! We went to the park one day and they played in the water. I'm sure they would have loved to stay longer but I couldn't handle sitting in the sun one minute longer. So we went inside and checked out some library books that none of them have even opened yet, 4 days later! Oh well, they had fun anyway!

Alena Lee Bieren has finally arrived! They are home from the hospital and everything went really well! She was born Sunday, July 26th at 3:03 pm and weighed 7 lb 9.7 oz.

Chace's latest wipeout!

Just wanted to post a picture of Chace's latest wipeout! He was riding his BMX bike on the asphalt and wasn't wearing his helmet and the first part of his body to hit the asphalt was his head. Just so you know, this was 24 hours after the incident. You should have seen the goose egg right after he did it. Needless to say, he is remembering on his own now to wear his helmet!

So I thought I would post the results of the baby name poll I took. It looks like the winner is Jacey Jo Jenkins! Sorry Jamie! Although I think my mom voted a few more times than anyone else. Dave wasn't really fond of Presley (although I liked it) so he voted for Jacey! Now let's just hope that once she arrives, she looks like a Jacey! Only 10 weeks and 6 days left! And no, I still didn't get the babies room or Raygans room done yet! Still waiting for Raygans bedroom furniture to arrive!

I'm so bad at this blog thing! I have so many other things I should be doing right now but hey, what the heck, I will eventually get them done. So we had a great time on our Oregon Coast trip! It will probably be the only vacation we take this summer because Dave and Chace seem to have races every weekend! They raced this weekend and Dave took first (which was a very good race by the way) and Chace took 3rd. They had a really cool fireworks show afterwards that we all enjoyed too! Anyway, I thought I would post some of the pictures from the Oregon Coast. I didn't get very many, which I know is really surprising, but I did get a few cute ones!

Here is Chace buried in the sand by Raygan and their cousin Porter! If you look closely you can see Dave BAKING in the background. He got fried that day!

This is a picture of all the cousins on my side of the family. Jimmie is an exception though, she is my brothers new wife but she was dying to be in the picture!

Here is Chace at the Newport Aquarium. It was pretty cool except I was done walking by the time we had made it through the entire aquarium.

And last but not least, Sissy had to get buried too! Notice Dave still baking in the background! Ha, ha!

Oh, and I thought I would give a little update on the pregnancy! I am 26 weeks along now. Man, I think the last time I posted I was not even half way along yet! How time flies! Everything is going smoothly and I'm feeling really well. I'm going to try and get motivated enough this week to start working on Raygan and the babies rooms. I'm turning our guest room/workout room into the babies room. So lots of work to do, I hope I get motivated enough to start and if I do I probably will finish! I can't stand not finishing something. I'll leave that up to my husband! Ha, Ha, just teasing honey!

My little boy is getting TOO big!!

Here is my little boy mowing the lawn with my Mother's Day present from my hubby! Now some of you might think, "Oh, man, what kind of a husband buys his wife a lawn mower for Mother's Day"! But let me assure you that it was all good for this reason! I use to to be the only one in the family that seemed to know how to mow the lawn and it took 2 1/2 hours. The lawn mower was about 15 years old or maybe even older. But since Mother's Day, I haven't mowed the lawn once. I really don't even know how to use the thing. Dave comes home from work and hops on that thing and is done in 40 minutes, and yes, he did time himself. Anyway, I think the newness finally wore off because on Friday he taught Chace how to mow the lawn! And he did a great job too! I still think my little boy is just too little to be old enough to do those kind of things! I want my kids to STOP growing up!

So while the boys played on the lawn mower, Raygan and I planted some flowers! As I would get one flower planted in the pot, she would come behind me and drip like 2 drips of water right on top of each flower. It was pretty cute so I didn't have the heart to tell her that the water needs to go in the dirt, not on top of the flower!

Oh, yes, and while everyone else was working, Dad was supervising (if you can call it that)!

Well, I finally have some pictures to post! For my birthday yesterday I went to Fred Meyers and bought me a new play toy for my kids. Isn't that what you are suppose to do when you're a mom? It was such a nice day yesterday and my kids were bored to death (I looked outside at one point yesterday morning and Chace was digging in the mud for hours) so I went to town to get them a little pool to play in and came home with something a little bigger than a kiddy pool. I hesitated on buying it because I figured we would spend all this time setting up this monster slide and the kids would play on it for 5 minutes and be bored but we finally had to pull them off it once the weather turned bad. They even played on it after the storms rolled in and finally the hot water valve outside that we hooked the hose up to ran out of hot water (after 2 hours, amazing isn't it). I can't wait to get my power bill for heating all that hot water. Anyway, that was the best present I could have gotten, seeing my kids happy and having fun! Now I get to enjoy today, Sunday, telling them they can't play on it until Monday! Yipee for me!

Chace had a little too much momentum here as you can see! He went right over the edge! We all had a good chuckle over that one!

Wow, I must say it has been awhile since I last blogged! I feel like nothing interesting goes on in my life worth blogging. But just in case any of you hadn't heard, we are having another girl. Raygan and I went in for my ultrasound last Wednesday and we decided to find out the sex. Everyone is excited about it except for Chace. He really wanted a brother. But there would be 8 years difference in their age and he just doesn't quite understand that. Raygan has decided we are naming her Alice for "Alice in Wonderland". But that is not one of Mom and Dad's choices. We are trying to decide between two names as of now. I like "Presley" and Dave likes "Peyton". So we will see who wins in the end. It could change during the next 19 weeks too, so who knows what we will decide come October. Any other suggestions anyone??? Well, I was going to try and put the video of the ultrasound on my blog but I can't even get it to come up on my computer. So maybe I will try scanning the pictures we got of our little girl. They aren't the best but maybe you can see something familiar in them. Once we have our 4D ultrasound the pictures will be much clearer. So the due date is still October 12th. Looking very forward to October, although I have a lot to get done before this baby comes.
Dave and Chace have their last race for this series they have been racing in this weekend! Dave is hoping to take first overall, and we are hoping Chace will take 3rd in his class. Hopefully I can remember to take some pictures and post after the race! Have a great weekend everyone!

Surprise, Surprise, no new pictures!

Yes, it is true! I left the camera at home last weekend and got no pictures of the races. Dave, of coarse, took 1st place on his quad and 3rd on his motorcycle. He had a total of 12 races over 2 days. Needless to say he was wiped out by Sunday night. Chace is still learning how to "work" his supped up quad and by his third race did great, until he forgot to shift down at the finish line and killed it! Woops! He has so much fun regardless of where he places. He must get that attitude from his mother because we know his dad would have no part in that attitude!

Well, Dave is off to Nevada tomorrow for ANOTHER race and he is going to drop the kids and I off at my parents on his way. So we should have a fun weekend! Oh, and I will be 15 weeks on Sunday! I am now in my second trimester, 1/3 of the way there and the baby is the size of an apple! My next doctor's appointment is Wednesday, and hopefully they will listen to the heartbeat, just to make sure there is only 1!!!

Spring Break at the Jenkins!

Well, I always feel like I need to have some new pictures in order to update my blog but I'm horrible at remembering to take my camera anywhere. So I decided I would finally update without pictures today!

It's Spring break! Yippee! We were going to go to Nampa to see my family but too many business complications are needing to be taken care of this week so my poor kids are going to get to sit around and do nothing all week. Hopefully, I can get everything taken care of and we can go and do something fun before the weeks over!

I am 13 weeks and 2 days along today! If you notice the little picture of the baby in the top left corner, it is finally starting to look like a human instead of an alien! I am finally rid of the flu/cold my kids gave me and my nausea is finally starting to go away! But by about 1 pm I am exhausted! I wish that would hurry and pass so I could get motivated to get some cleaning around here done!

Well, Dave and Chace have a race this weekend so hopefully I will remember the camera and post some pictures! And hopefully Dave gets both their quads back in running condition so they will be able to race! I wish my husband could find a cheaper hobby!

Well, Happy Easter everyone! It hasn't been a really festive Easter at the Jenkins household. The kids and I are sick and didn't even make it to church today. I sent Dave so he could teach our primary class. So the kids didn't even get to wear their new Easter outfits to church today. I was so looking forward to dressing them up and getting some cute pictures to post on my blog but so much for that idea! Hopefully we will be feeling better next Sunday and we can get some cute pictures!

Baby Jenkins is 11 weeks old today! I'm over a quarter of the way there! Yipee! Dave is certain it is going to be a boy (of coarse), and I'm kinda hoping for a girl but will be happy with whatever we get! Hope everyone had a Happy Easter!

Weeks 8 and 9!

How your baby's growing:New this week: Webbed fingers and toes are poking out from your baby's hands and feet, his eyelids practically cover his eyes, breathing tubes extend from his throat to the branches of his developing lungs, and his "tail" is just about gone. In his brain, nerve cells are branching out to connect with one another, forming primitive neural pathways. You may be daydreaming about your baby as one sex or the other, but the external genitals still haven't developed enough to reveal whether you're having a boy or a girl. Either way, your baby — about the size of a kidney bean — is constantly moving and shifting, though you still can't feel it.

Your pregnancy: 9 weeks

How your baby's growing:Your new resident is nearly an inch long — about the size of a grape — and weighs just a fraction of an ounce. She's starting to look more and more human. Her essential body parts are accounted for, though they'll go through plenty of fine-tuning in the coming months. Other changes abound: Your baby's heart finishes dividing into four chambers, and the valves start to form — as do her tiny teeth. The embryonic "tail" is completely gone. Your baby's organs, muscles, and nerves are kicking into gear. The external sex organs are there but won't be distinguishable as male or female for another few weeks. Her eyes are fully formed, but her eyelids are fused shut and won't open until 27 weeks. She has tiny earlobes, and her mouth, nose, and nostrils are more distinct. The placenta is developed enough now to take over most of the critical job of producing hormones. Now that your baby's basic physiology is in place, she's poised for rapid weight gain.

Ok, my doctor's appointment isn't until March 27th so I still am not sure what my due date is so from what I figure it should be Sunday, October 12th. So that puts me at 9 weeks this week. Everything seems to be going smoothly, except of coarse this ridiculous nauseated feeling I am getting really SICK of (no pun intended). Still fitting into my jeans and hope that continues for the next oh, let's say 31 weeks! I'm such an optimist, aren't I?

Baby Jenkins-Week 7

How Baby Jenkins is growing: The big news this week: Hands and feet are emerging from developing arms and legs — although they look more like paddles at this point than the tiny, pudgy extremities you're daydreaming about holding and tickling. Technically, your baby is still considered an embryo and has something of a small tail, which is an extension of her tailbone. The tail will disappear within a few weeks, but that's the only thing getting smaller. Your baby has doubled in size since last week and now measures half an inch long, about the size of a blueberry.If you could see inside your womb, you'd spot eyelid folds partially covering her peepers, which already have some color, as well as the tip of her nose and tiny veins beneath parchment-thin skin. Both hemispheres of your baby's brain are growing, and her liver is churning out red blood cells until her bone marrow forms and takes over this role. She also has an appendix and a pancreas, which will eventually produce the hormone insulin to aid in digestion. A loop in your baby's growing intestines is bulging into her umbilical cord, which now has distinct blood vessels to carry oxygen and nutrients to and from her tiny body.

Man, what I'm wondering is how that all fits into something the size of a blueberry! Oh, and how does something the size of a blueberry make me feel like BARFING all day long??? Oh, the joys of pregnancy, but nope, I wouldn't trade it for anything!!

This is how we told Dad the big news! This picture frame was on his nightstand and he took a while to finally get it! Let's just say he was speechless!

We just told the kids tonight and they seem to be pretty excited! I don't think they really understand fully what is going on, especially Raygan, because she told us that she is NOT going back in my tummy!! I hope not for my sake! Anyway, we are no longer 4 but 5 (if all goes well, which we are praying for)!

Well, I finally have posted pictures from the trip! We had a great time but are glad to be home. Everything went great except for my conditioner exploding in my bag on the way there and my aerosol hairspray exploding on the way home. Got to love those new airline rules about not taking any liquids on as carry-ons. We went to Disneyland for a few hours when we got there on Wednesday and all day Thursday. We spent all of Friday at California Adventure Park. Saturday was spent at Knott's Berry Farm and Sunday was at LegoLand. Then on Monday we went back to Disneyland and California Adventure Park but seeing as how it was President's Day we weren't the only ones who decided to go to Disneyland. So we left the CROWDED parks and went to Downtown Disney District and did a little shopping. Raygan had a makeover at Libby Lu's, the cutest little girls store ever. She was in little girl heaven! Chace spent hours trying to pick out a new set of Lego's at the lego store. And all in all we all probably lost 25 pounds with all the walking we did. Although we did do a lot of eating too so it all probably balanced out. The kids fell asleep everynight during dinner in our booth so they probably didn't gain too much weight. They were wiped out by the time 7 p.m. rolled around! It was a memorable trip but we can now say we've all been to Disneyland so hopefully we won't have to do it again too soon! I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing vacation on the beaches of Hawaii!

One week from today we leave for the hopefully sunny warm days of Cali! Everyone is getting really anxious. I just noticed that Dave bid on a new pair of Nike's on ebay for the big trip! Like those will get here in time, but good try Davey!

Dana and Mandi were laid to rest last night. I wasn't really fond of those dogs but it was kinda sad to see them leave us. Raygan had a hard time when we told her and it hit Chace when he went to bed last night that he was going to miss them too. He can think of them everytime he rides his quad over their resting place out on the track! Rest in peace Dana and Mandi!

My kids are growing up too fast!!!

Ok, I just got Chace's 7 year pictures today. He is now 7 1/2 but who's counting, right? I found some pictures of the kids when they were little so I thought it would be fun to post some of them compared to their most recent pictures. Our little ice skating adventure!!

Well, last night Dave and I went to a surprise birthday party for a friend of ours, Rochelle. We had a great time getting together with some of our old friends from Pasco. It makes us miss Pasco and all the great people over on the other side of the river! I'm sure Dave will be itchin' to find land in Pasco now. We got a babysitter for the kids and her name is Ariel. Raygan loves her and calls her Little Mermaid. I think Raygan really thinks she's The Little Mermaid. We all had to laugh about that. On the way home from the party we got an invite from some friends to go ice skating. So we took the babysitter home and got the kids dressed and at 9 pm went ice skating. The last time I went ice skating was in Kindergarten. Raygan has never been and she loved it. She wouldn't stop and didn't want to leave at 11 pm. Chace was soaking wet by the time we were done and I'm sure has a few bruises this morning. But he loved it and kept going. I think we are hooked and hopefully can go often. Oh, and just in case any of you are wondering, the little walker was more for me than Raygan. Ha, Ha!! So I thought I would post a few pictures of our little adventure! Have a great Sunday everyone! I'm finally going to update!!

I know, I know, it's about time. I started this blog and then wanted to add music and pictures and I finally made the time to sit down and figure it all out. So I should have music and pictures, hopefully. Just so you know, my kids are still up watching tv at 9:34 p.m. because this has taken me all night to finally get it the way I wanted it. I thought this blog would be a great way to keep all of my family and friends that are so far away updated on our family happenings. So hopefully I can keep this updated. I'm going to post a few pictures of the kids, I hope. We'll see how this goes. Until next time, which I hope is sooner than my last update! By the way, I hope you all noticed the little countdown timer! The Jenkins are taking their first trip to Disneyland on February 13th. None of us have ever been. What deprived children Dave and I were! Ha, Ha! Dave actually had the chance to go with his family when we were engaged, but he opted to come visit me instead. What a sweetheart!
